Method 3
Use the following instructions to manually find out your computer name.
Follow the instructions corresponding to your Operating System.
To find your
computer's name on Windows 2000 or XP:
Click on Start and Run and type in "CMD" (without the quotation marks) and
select "OK". Then type "ipconfig /all" (without the quotation
marks) and hit the Enter key. Please note that there is a space
between "ipconfig" and "/all".
Something similar to the following text will appear:
