There are three ways you can find out your Computer Name. Choose whichever you feel comfortable with.
Method 1

Your Computer Name is displayed in the software that you are trying to purchase. If you have not downloaded and tried the software yet, we recommend that you do so before placing the order.
Method 2

Use this small application. Click here to download the application. When asked if you want to Save or Open it, choose Open. An application will run and it will display your computer name in a text box. Just copy/paste it in the order form.
Method 3

Use the following instructions to manually find out your computer name. Follow the instructions corresponding to your Operating System.

To find your computer's name on Windows 2000 or XP:

Click on Start and Run and type in "CMD" (without the quotation marks) and select "OK".  Then type "ipconfig /all" (without the quotation marks) and hit the Enter key.  Please note that there is a space between "ipconfig" and "/all".

Something similar to the following text will appear:

Type "exit" and hit the Enter key to close the DOS window.
To find your computer's name on Windows 95, 98 or ME (Millenium Edition):

Click on Start and Run and type in "winipcfg" (without the quotation marks) and select "OK".
